You’re pregnant! Congratulations! You start ticking off the days until the time comes when you can hold that precious new baby in your arms. Being a new mother is truly a joyful experience, but “Mother Nature” says you have to wait nine months until you get there. Mother Nature also says that along your nine-month journey you may experience nausea, fatigue, and never-ending trips to the bathroom. Oh, and one more thing, stretch marks!
Not every women develops stretch marks during pregnancy, but statistics show that 75% to 90% of them do. Toward the end of pregnancy they start showing up everywhere – on your belly, breasts, upper thighs, behind your knees, upper arms, and your buttocks. Take heart, there are some things you can do to try to limit the possibility of getting stretch marks while your pregnant.
